2016 Dependent Care FSA Grace Period Ends March 15, 2017

If you're enrolled in a Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) for the 2016 benefit period, your DCFSA includes a grace period that extends the amount of time you can incur eligible dependent care expenses and use funds remaining in your 2016 DCFSA to pay for them.

Incur Eligible Expenses by March 15, 2017

The grace period for the 2016 benefit period ends on March 15, 2017. There is only a limited time left to use remaining 2016 DCFSA funds to pay for childcare, elder daycare and other eligible expenses.

To see your account status, simply log in to your account at www.FSAFEDS.com.

Claims for eligible expenses incurred during the grace period must be submitted by April 30, 2017 - the 2016 claims submission deadline. After this deadline, you forfeit DCFSA funds remaining from the 2016 benefit period.

To file a claim, simply choose the claim submission method you prefer - online, fax, mail or the FSAFEDS App. The app is a quick, easy way to manage your FSA.
