DoD Service members utilizing DoD child care programs who have a receipt for dependent care that does not meet FSAFEDS requirements for reimbursement may be able to utilize the Parent Fee Agreement provided by DoD Child and Youth Programs (CYP).
The Service member should submit a DCFSA claim and attach as a receipt the CYP Parent Fee Agreement that has both CYP and parent signatures. Upon approval of this DCFSA claim, the Service member will be reimbursed each month, up to the available balance in their account, as services are rendered in accordance with the Parent Fee Agreement. The claim will continue to automatically reimburse the fees detailed in the Parent Fee Agreement each month up to the available account balance with no additional claim submission requirements. If the Parent Fee Agreement changes or terminates (e.g., the dependent's program or cost changes or the dependent is disenrolled), it is the responsibility of the Service member to notify FSAFEDS that the Parent Fee Agreement is no longer valid.
