2020 CARES Act and DCFSAs
On March 27, 2020, President Trump signed into law the $2 trillion appropriations bill, The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The CARES Act brings emergency assistance and additional health care provisions to Americans affected by the 2020 pandemic.
Submit 2019 Claims Now
Did you have a 2019 FSAFEDS account? If so, be sure to submit your claims before the deadline. All claims for the 2019 benefit period must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, on Thursday, April 30, 2020.
Medical Mileage Rate for the 2020 Benefits Period
The IRS recently released the medical mileage rate for the 2020 benefit period. The 2020 rate is 17 cents per mile, a slight decrease from 2019.
2020 Maximum Limit Update
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced 2020 FSA contribution limits which increase the amount participants may contribute to a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) or a Limited Expense Health Care FSA(LEX HCFSA).
