Your Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS) account can help you tackle the cold & flu so you can enjoy all the wonders of the season. The list of eligible Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) expenses is growing - check out these popular expenses.


Over-the-Counter Medicines and Menstrual Care Products
You can also use your HCFSA to purchase most over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and drugs without a prescription, as well as menstrual care products. OTC medicines include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Aspirin, ibuprofen, and other pain relievers
  • Allergy and sinus medicine
  • Cough drops and throat lozenges
  • Eye drops
  • Nasal sprays
