Submit 2023 Claims

Did you have a 2023 Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS) account? If so, be sure to submit your claims before the deadline. All claims for the 2023 benefit period must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, on
Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Any 2023 claims received after this time will not be processed. Do not miss a savings opportunity!

Important Reminders

  • If you re-enrolled for 2024, the Health Care FSA (HCFSA) and Limited Expense HCFSA (LEX HCFSA) allow you to carry over up to $610 into the 2024 benefit period.
  • If you have a 2023 Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA), you may continue to incur eligible expenses until March 15, 2024, whether or not you re-enrolled. However, all claims for the 2023 benefit period must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Helpful Tips

  • To be sure you have not missed filing any eligible expense, just check the claims payments (including paperless reimbursement claims) in your online account against your 2023 receipts.
  • For Pick and Process paperless reimbursement (HCFSA and LEXFSA only), be sure that you have selected all of your eligible expenses and scheduled them for payment. You can now access your Pick and Process claims via our FSAFEDS mobile app, as well as online.
  • If you need help determining what expenses are eligible, check the eligible expense lists under the Support & FAQ Center.

Do Not Forget to Link Your FSAFEDS and Login.gov Accounts

You are required to log in to your Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS) account via the secure site Login.gov. You will not be able to access your FSAFEDS account until your accounts are linked. Follow these steps:

  • Create an account at Login.gov, if you do not already have one. You will need to use an email address that only you can access (no family-shared accounts, for example) and create a password. You may add multiple email addresses to your Login.gov, so please make sure to add all email addresses listed on your FSAFEDS account to your Login.gov account.
  • If you already have an account at Login.gov, ensure that the email address(es) on your FSAFEDS account are added or updated to match what you have in your Login.gov account.
  • When you log in to your FSAFEDS account, you will be directed to Login.gov to enter your login.gov email and password to access your FSAFEDS account.
  • The first time you use your login.gov credentials you will be required to authenticate your FSAFEDS account. You need to complete this step via a desktop computer.
